Registration: you MUST declare your intention to travel to China by September 7th. Due to a need for an invitation letter from the Chinese national training center, we cannot accept anyone after this date. Anyone who registers after September 7th will not be permitted on the trip.

Zoom Athlete/Parent Meeting: TBA (after September 7th) will record for those that cannot make the live video as it will be conducted during the day.

Qinhuangdao, Hebei

China

Dates: October 14-November 1

Athletes and Coach Housing Only: Dorms

Dorm Rooms: 2 athletes/room assigned by RipFest staff

Food: Dorm Food with Chinese athletes

Training: weights, dryland, springboard and platform available

Cost of housing/training/food while we are in Qinhuangdao will be all-inclusive. You will need to plan to bring extra money for Beijing weekend adventure/siteseeing.

We plan to visit the Great Wall of China, Tiananmen Square, and the Forbiden City.

Flights: Athletes are responsible for booking their own travel. We will have location and time where we will meet once everyone is in China to travel via high-speed train to the dormitories.

Visa: RipFest will handle turning in Visa information, but parents will need to fill out the informtion.

Passport: athletes must have valid passport for travel- MUST BE VALID FOR 1 YEAR AFTER TRAVEL DATES

Excursions: we will be participating in a weekend excursion to Beijing. We will visit the Great Wall and other various locations. We will be getting hotel rooms that weekend. Parents are welcome to stay with their athletes over the weekend in Beijing. Parents will be in charge of booking their own rooms. Hotel rooms for athletes without parents in attendance will be booked by RipFest and roommates will be assigned by staff.

Parent attendance in China: parents are welcome to attend. However, all travel logistics, housing and food will not be provided by RipFest for parents. As this is a training trip, divers will be training up to 6 hours a day as we do at home. Athletes will eat all meals as a team in the dormitories. Parents access to watch practices is unknown at this point. Parents will not be permitted in dormitories.

We will be working with a travel agency that can help parents book flights, hotels, ect.
