Travel Meet Information

Attending meets for all divers is up to the discretion of your club coach. RipFest believes in participating in competitions throughout the year. Each club attends different events throughout the year. Please ask your club coach which meets they expect you to attend in the year.

Athletes that attend meets hosted by AAU and USAD will be expected to pay travel meet fees to RipFest for each meet. Each meet varies on the cost. Please contact kate@ripfest.net for information on travel meet cost breakdowns.

Developmental Meets/Intersquad meets are not subject to travel meet fees.

Beginning January 1, 2026 

All outstanding travel meet fees and monthly training fees must be paid in full prior to participating in any upcoming meet.

Policy Details:

• Payment Requirement:
• All divers must have their account balance paid in full (including any past-due monthly fees, all travel meet fees, or training trip fees) before the registration deadline for each meet in order to compete at the meet.
• Meet Eligibility:
• Divers with unpaid balances will not be permitted to participate in upcoming meets until all payments are received.
• Payment Deadlines:
• Travel meet fees are due one month from the invoice date.
• Monthly fees must be current according to the team’s billing cycle.
• Payments must be completed no later than the meet entry deadline.
• Non-Compliance:
• Failure to meet these requirements may result in removal from meet entries and could affect future participation in the club until accounts are current.

Purpose:

This policy ensures that all financial obligations are met in a timely manner, allowing the team to cover coaching, administrative, and travel costs efficiently.

We offer intersquad meets throughout the year to test the skill the athletes have been working on and learn what competition is all about. These meets are open to all skill levels and a great opportunity for your athlete to show off their skills to friend and family in a fun environment. These meets combine all of our RipFest sites to allow for some great competition and getting to know all of our athletes.

Lodging and Travel to Competition

Competition travel and logistics do not fall under the purview of RipFest administration. RipFest does not authorize, require, recommend, or fund lodging requirements. Arrival and departure dates and times, daily training and competition times will be provided as dictated by the competition administration.
